RIGHT-OF-WAY AGENT (Contract Position) – Immediate Opening in New Mexico
 
Job Description:
 
Utility-related Right-of-Way Agent needed to process full spectrum of ROW easement negotiations/acquisitions/renewals primarily in Northern New Mexico locations (Albuquerque office).
 
Basic Requirements:
 
·       Must be qualified to read and interpret engineering drawings, write legal and non-legal descriptions, search titles, do basic appraisals, secures right-of-way with property owners and understands the permit acquisition process.
·       Must be capable of completing assignments with minimal or no supervision.
·       Must have both Tribal Lands and Private Land easement experience.
·       Right-of-way acquisition and negotiating skills required.
·       Experience working with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and other Federal, State and County agencies desired.
·       Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in negotiating and acquiring easements.
·       Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
·       Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite tools.
 
Education:
·       Minimum Associate Degree preferred.
 
Pay Rate:
 
·       Based on experience. Mileage as applicable, no additional benefits.
 
Job Duration:
 
·       Contract  - Minimum of 6 months duration

TELECOM COE ENGINEER – PLANNER
Pay rate to 35.00 per hour – No Additional Benefits

Job responsibilities:
Handling PIP (Plug in Orders)
Writing CCRs/projects for system replacement or addition
Create DIR for testing.
Validate cards delivered and scheduled with DNP
Project Manage turn up of capacity through BDMS, BAAIS, loop qual, etc. to have capacity available for customer ordering.
Create work order for budget approval, BeRT order and DIR.
Circuit review and order of the links between the RT DSLAM to Host DSLAM and/or the Host DSLAM to the ATM switch (Aggregator),
Consult/contact with Network Development for Aggregation connectivity and bandwidth availability.
Schedule test, turn-up of the link(s) and migration of customers with DNP
Answering facility exhausts initiated by outside groups (BRPC via IP Request, wholesale access orders in RequestNet)
Providing budgetary information for system replacements and such, answering BDTs/CBSCNE cases for local loop-related information, and preparing CCRT/CRC documentation.
Education and Experience:
3-5 years experience in transmission engineering
Working knowledge of ADSL DSLAM Equipment (Alcatel 1000s, HD/UD7300 ASAMs, Fujitsu frame relay DSLAMs, Adtran DSLAMs)
Working knowledge of  Local Transmission Systems (DACS, M13s, office terminating repeater shelves, channel banks, any FOT or XMN gear affecting local loop
Knowledge of Verizon/Frontier systems (BDMS, BAAIS, CCP) desirable
Electrical Engineering degree preferred

Fiber Optic Construction Inspectors
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience.
Verizon/MCI/Worldcom knowledge highly desired.

Customer Zone Tech. II
Must have 2 years experience.
Outside Plant  experience required

OSP Installation and Repair Tech.
Must have 2 years experience.

OSP Outside Plant – Telecommunications Engineer
Must have 3 years experience with copper and/or fiber facilities.
